FROM JEAN: The government seems to have forgotten all those of us who have paid taxes all our lives, and paid our way thru life not running up big debts and still saved a little for our old age. And now a city near me has a program, paid for by our taxes, to teach Hispanic immigrants how to read and write Spanish. Yup, you read that right. They are not only illegal immigrants, they are also illiterate, and we are paying for them to learn how to read and write their own language!

Is it really necessary to remove my rubber sneakers at airport check-in? Does rubber or some sort of resin product really conceal anything? If I wore Depends, would I be asked to remove that also?
